Who We Are:
Sailability
New Jersey is a 501c(3) non profit; volunteer-based
organization dedicated to improving the lives of
seniors, disadvantaged members of its community,
disabled children and adults through the activity of
sailing.
The organization was founded with the vision of
establishing a statewide adaptive community sailing
program based on the Constitution and principles of its
inspiration, Sailability World Inc.
Sailability’s philosophy “Sailing for Everyone” has
captured the world’s imagination and provides the
opportunity for people of all ages and all abilities to
be included in community life.
The program would provide accessible boating
opportunities and marine related education to seniors,
kids at risk, the general community and children and
adults with special needs who may not otherwise be able
to participate in the marine related programs.
Sailing programs will be free of charge and advertised as
all-inclusive, recreational sailing activities with
opportunities to train for competition. |
